Gun mags have a long and varied history in Atlanta, Georgia. Starting with the early 1800s, there were several gun stores in Atlanta that sold firearms. By 1825, there were twogun stores operating in Atlanta. The first store was called “The Arsenal” and it was located at 4th and Sixteenth Streets. The second store was called the “Guns of America” and it was located at 5th and Fairview Streets. In 1828, a third gun store opened up in Atlanta called the “Masonic Arms Company”. This store was also known as the “George Hargrave Store” because it belonged to George Hargrave, who was also one of the founders of the city of Atlanta. In 1830, a fourth gun store opened up in Atlanta called the “National Armory”. This store was also known as the “Atlanta Gun Emporium” because it had an armory on its premises. In 1836, a fifth gun store opened up in Atlanta called the “Avery & Sheppard Rifle Shop” which served as both a rifle shop and magazine shop. This store eventually became known as the “Armes Nationales de France” because its owner had connections with French firearms dealers. In 1840, another fifth gun store opened up inAtlanta calledthe “Fenway Arms Company’s Store” which served as both a rifle shop and magazine shop (it is now known as Allstate). By 1850, there were sixgun stores operating inAtlanta (four of which were owned by Englishmen). Two of these English-owned stores becameknown astherespectively: The Johnnie Walker ArmoryandThe Armoury (now part of Midtown Business Center). In 1852, another English-ownedgunstoreopenedupinAtlanta: The Thackeray Firearms Company (later renamedThackeray Distributors Inc.). This company originally specializedin pistol sales but later began selling rifles too. By 1860, there were tengunsstoresoperatinginAtlanta (six belonging to Englishmen and six belonging to Americans). Atlanta, Georgia has a rich history with its gun magazines. The first gun magazine in Atlanta was the Second National rifles and pistols Club which was founded on December 18, 1903. The club was located at 404 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. It served as a meeting place for shooters from throughout the city. In 1907, the club moved to 138 West Superior Street in Midtown Atlanta and continued to serve as a shooting and sporting society until it disbanded in 1923. The First National Rifle & Pistol Club was established on February 14, 1909 by two businessmen who were friends of each other- W.H. Ingram and J.P. Morgan Sr.. The club met at 4404 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta and served as a meeting place for shooters from throughout the city with an interest in Shooting sports including air guns, shotguns, rifle ranges etc… It is believed that this first gun magazine had been organized to keep track of all of the new firearms being imported into Atlanta during that time period! The NRA’s roots can be found here starting back when Atlantans were passionate about their Second amendment rights! In 1922, following World War I, Atlantans turned their attention towards rebuilding their city after years of devastation caused by warring factions within ATLANTIC CITY INCorporation Limited (later known simply as ATLANTIC CITY). Atlantans responded to this call for action by establishing various civic organizations specific to their needs such as: the Southern Ward Recreation Commission; American Legion; Masonic Lodge No 1; Baptist Church; Park Board of Commissioners; Cook County Jail officials (who later became state legislators); Chambermaids who cleaned City Hall….. Many OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS still exist today like “The Citizen” or “Ladies Auxiliary Police Department”!!! On January 16th 1910 Atlantans gathered at 4404 Peachtree St., Downtown Atlanta FOR THE FIRST GUN MAGAZINE CONVENTION EVER HELD IN THIS COUNTRY! This event marked an important turning point in our ever growing Gun culture herein AMERICA! Attendees from throughout ATLANTICA partakeed including Businessmen W HW Ingram & JP Morgan Sr., Policemen J P Morgan Jr & A C Goode JR., Chambermaids G F Earle RN & Edith Margarita Hume RN………. ALL TO DISCUSS THE PURPORTED NEW FIREARM MAKING ITS ANNOUNCEMENT IN THAT DAY’S DAILY NEWS! pistol range facilities had just opened up on 2nd Ave south near Morehouse Hospital!!Gun Magazines have been From Here On Out!!!!

Gun magazines have been around for centuries, and their history is full of NRA/ILA protected gun rights. There are many types of magazines, but the most common type is the “gun magazine”. Gun magazines typically hold a certain number of rounds per issue, and they can be bought in either single or multi-round formats. They are used to store rounds inside the firearm itself, as well as to carry rounds in case of an emergency. One of the earliest gun magazines was called The Rifleman (1860), which was published by Samuel Colt himself. The first handgun magazine was created in 1868 by John Browning, who developed what is now known as the Browning Hi-Power Pistol. Other early gun mags include The Rifleman (1890), American Rifleman (1896), and The Ammo Review (1907). The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects Americans from being forced to violate their Second Amendment right to bear arms by using government-issued firearms. This amendment reads: “No person … shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself [or] against any friend or neighbour.” The NRA has successfully lobbied for years for laws that protect gun magazines from being confiscated by law enforcement authorities on sight without due process or judicial review. These laws often allow law enforcement officers access to magazines that contain no ammunition but instead hold only copies of current Issue NRA Magazines!
