In Wildwood, Florida, there has been a long and continual tradition of high capacity conversions. The city was founded in 1868 by J.P. Morgan and is known for its vast tracts of undeveloped land that have been used for agriculture, cattle ranching, and golf courses ever since. In 1924, the first to use electricity in Wildwood was the electrical company El Paso Electric Company. Since then, various companies have come and gone through the city's sawmills and printing plants until today there are over 20 businesses employing over 500 employees in total. The conversion of these industries to electricity has had a significant impact on Wildwood's economy; without these conversions, many jobs would not be available today given that electric services are much more affordable than gas or diesel options. Additionally, conversion of these industries has helped to preserveWildwood's unique character as one of the most conservative communities in Florida while also creating new opportunities for economic development within the community. Today, there are numerous businesses throughout Wildwood that operate primarily due to their reliance on electric service; such as Home Depot/ Lowe’s who operates eight stores in town alone thanks to their partnership with El Paso Electric Company; KFC who operates a restaurant and convenience store within town limits; Comcast which provides cable services throughout town; AEG Live Entertainment which stages concerts at Exposition Park each year; Ryder Cup Golf Resort which offers lodging and dining options for visitors during tournaments taking place at nearby Pinehurst Country Club; among many others. All of this activity comesat a cost though- an estimated $1 billion was spent just between 1990-2013 on energy facility conversions in Broward County alone! Given all of this investment so recently into converting industries here in Wildwood (and across Florida), it is clear that this choice is not only majorly beneficial for society as a whole but also economically speaking- job creation always garners critical attention during any time period such as this one where technology continues to evolve at an alarming rate!

In the early 1900s, conversion attempts were often made using smaller cartridge cartridges. This was because the technology of the time did not exist to create large-capacity cartridges. Large capacity conversions were first attempted in the 1950s with small-capacity cartridges, but these conversions failed due to problems with feeding and detonating the larger rounds. In 1957, a new type of cartridge was developed that could hold more than 10 rounds. This cartridge became known as a "large capacity". The popularity of this type of cartridge led to further development of large-capacity conversions technology in the 1960s and 1970s. These developments resulted in large-capacity Conversions vehicles that could hold up to 20 rounds. The widespread use of large-capacity conversions has allowed shooters to fire more rounds per minute than ever before. Additionally, these conversions have made it possible for shooters to shoot greater distances without having to reload frequently.

In 2002, the first large-scale storage conversion project was completed at a data center in Scotts Valley, California. The converted facility had more than 2 million square feet of capacity and was used to store data for major software companies such as HP and Microsoft.
