As early as 1907, Venetian residents had organized themselves into streetside political clubs and held elections without Representation By Ballot or Vote any further than necessary until 1912 when they finally obtained their own board of supervisors formulating laws governing city government affairs including amusement district ordinances etc…..They also engaged extensively in mercantile pursuits; buying goods at local farmers' markets; handling goods brought into town from outlying areas; shipping produce to nearby markets……….Today's venetians are descendants not only of these early pioneers but also those who arrived after World War IIfamilies who have worked hard to maintain their cultural heritage while living among new arrivals…..
