Roper believed that if he killed her husband she would be able to get away with murder and was horrified when she succeeded in making him choke to death with her own handkerchief before running out of house screaming hysterically. She ultimately pleaded guilty to manslaughter and received five years probation plus 100 hours community service

Although today most residents focus on their families and local businesses, there is no doubt that Titusvilley will continue to play an important role in both local history and culture over the next few decades!
