Additionally, any person who shot at or hit any animal with an unlicensed gun could be guilty of a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The Gun Law of 1881 was repealed in 1902 but it remained an important part of local law enforcement for many years afterwards. In 1915, Harry Hargrave founded Hargrave Airgun Works again and began manufacturing airguns under his own name instead of using the former ordinance’s name. The current synagogue located at 3690 Third Street was built in 1961 and seats about 350 people including Torah study rooms upstairs and down each wing for up to 50 people total during services which are held every Sunday afternoon with a Hebrew sermon followed by an open microphone performance by rabbis or cantors from around North America who come together every year for Shabbat services on Saturday night starting at 6 pm . Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute also offers undergraduate degrees through its Rabbinical Academy program while both LifeWay Christian School (grades pre-K-12) and Jewish Day School offer post-secondary education options with campuses scattered throughout northwestern Florida (Miami Beach/Clearwater; St Petersburg/Tampa; Winter Garden/Orlando); Alabama (Birmingham; Tuscaloosa); Tennessee (Memphis); Illinois ( Urbana Champaign; Beloit; Geneva).

In January 2007, officials announced that they had reached an agreement with creditors to sell or lease portions of the shopping center back to them for use as housing following TerraCotta Village's conversion into an electronic commerce park during Phase III development there; however, this plan never came to fruition due to declining property values and problems with financing. Temple Terrace was founded in 1892 by father and son, Temple and George Terrace. The family name comes from the two acres of land they acquired on which their home stood. The original house was a two-story wood frame structure with a small porch around the front. In 1903, the family built a three story brick building that still stands today. The new house became their main residence, and later also served as a school and store. In 1928, the family donated the property to Florida State University for use as an academic research center. Temple Terrace has been used for various purposes by FSU ever since, including being home to the School of Veterinary Medicine and Health Sciences; home to the School of Engineering; and now serve as an indoor recreation center for students at OSU Campus in Gainesville.
