That night, a group of men from Sweetwater went out to shoot at some game they had been hunting. One man, John Gibson, shot an animal and it fell to the ground. In 1902, Sheriff Tom Casey entered into a contract with Elettronic Manufacturing Company for the purchase of fifty revolvers for use by deputies within their jurisdiction. These guns would become known as “Tom Casey Guns” because they were made by Elettronic companies exclusively for sheriff’s departments throughout Florida (later renamed Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms & Explosives). The following year saw another change when Mayor Hargrave decided that he no longer wanted any participation in competitive shooting tournaments organized by his department but instead preferred team contests between different agencies or groups working together under one roof – something which rifle shooters found themselves unable to participate in due to lack of equipment or insurance back then! Eventually though, shotgun competition became dominant among law enforcement officials throughout southern Florida due to its simplicity and ease-of-use compared to rifle competition which often required years/opportunities learning how these weapons worked before being able to compete successfully against others! The Battle of Gaines Mill took place on November 8th near Sweetwater while Union troops were trying to retake Jackson from Confederate forces. The battle resulted in 7 killed and 25 wounded soldiers from both sides. On October 6th 1870, another large battle occurred when Union troops attempted to cross the Chattahoochee River into Georgia during Reconstruction efforts following the war. The battle resulted in 5 dead including 2 generals for Confederate forces and 10 living casualties for Union side
