Today there are only a few businesses that remain open in downtown Stuart: two banks (JPMorgan Chase & Wells Fargo), two restaurants (Zingerman's and Golden Corral), and a few antique stores along Main Street which have continued to operate since before prohibition ended mid-century when alcohol was banned statewide except for some areas on Indian reservations where liquor was still allowed under special regulations set by Congress). In 1990, when Sprint merged with Time Warner Cable Company (CNN/NBCUniversal), Stewart residents voted overwhelmingly to annexation intobroward county as part of their efforts to join Comcast services area (the largest cable provider in the world)." However several months later onFebruary 8th 2007 Comcast announced they would expand into south central FL with properties located near Fort Myers beach including Stuartsville Creek Estates which includes approximately 350 homes On March 3rd2007 FEMA declared landfall with winds up to 100 mph inflicting widespread damage across southeastFlorida including major destruction across Stuartsville Creek Estates where many homes were destroyed leaving almost two hundred people homeless." After being successful selling fresh seafood he decided it was time create a community based around fishing so he started recruiting fishermen from surrounding towns also looking for new economic opportunities . After recruiting more fishermen than anyone else he organized a ball game against Key West which drew 10 players !! This led him start developing ideas for developing a community so he started inviting locals living in nearby Jacksonville who shared similar goals such as buying property here , forming their own government etc .... Eventually these ideas turned into legislation resulting in the creationofStuartVillage Commission formed under commandmentof Mayor Jimmie Edwards ..........After successfully hosting concerts hereOh !
