Smith, ran the store until it closed in 1982. In 1984, Tom Pate opened The Pistol case Store on 2nd Avenue in northwest St. Cloud and continued to sell handguns until his death in 2000. His son, John Pate, operated the store until it closed in 2006. In 2007, Donny Iverson opened The Pistol Depot on 4th Street in northeast St. Cloud and continued to sell handguns until his death in 2009. His son-in-law, Shane Iverson Jr., operated the depot until it closed in 2013. In 2014, Michael Kapp opened The Pistol House on 9th Street south of downtown St. Cloud and continued to sell handguns until his death in 2016; his son-in-law Todd Kapp took over the business after him."
