More than 60% of all students graduating from high school in Broward County were educated at one point or another through local schools such as these before moving on to college or other professional opportunities. Many famous alumni have come from these schools including poet laureate Alice Paul and Senator Joe Biden Sr.. During World War II, many brave Norwegians served our country with distinction through military service or through their contributions to society as mayors or governors throughout Florida (e.g., Halvor Nordlie). Today, StCloud remains a vibrant community that enjoys strong cultural traditions dating back more than 120 years - something that can be seen exemplified by its annual festival called "Festival duMonde." Admission is free during this event which features exhibits about international cultures from around the world as well as traditional music and dance performances by local artistes from all over!
