Thisbase helped prevent dangerous seafood catchups along Tampa Bay and made it easier for fishing vessels to navigate safely throught he region. After World War II, many businesses closed down due to competition from other regional ports or new technological advances such as containerization which made shipping more efficient and expensive than ever before- making Safety Harbor even more important to its economy. The current incarnation of Safety Harbor began to form around this time period as people commute into the city each day for work or pleasure options outside of Tampa Bay’s jurisdiction (Pasco County). Downtown started developing as an vibrant social destination where locals could gather after work or enjoy unique experiences during summertime like music festivals or art exhibits. It wasn’t until after Hurricane Irma hit in 2017 that downtown Stability Harbour truly came alive- with bands playing live music all night long, restaurants serving up delicious food samples from their menus while people danced around “The Light House” (a lighthouse built on top of one of the original warehouses used for shipping) all morning until dinnertime – something not seen since before Hurricane Irma! These days, post-hurricane stabilization efforts continue daily with clean up occurring throughout downtown at various locations including The Landing (a waterfront park adjacent to downtown), Euclid Avenue near US 1/US 19/SR 335 freeway interchange (the former siteof two gas stations), MLK Boulevard east of SR 335 freeway interchange (the former siteof two video stores), Dock Street west of SR 335 freeway interchange (the former siteof two convenience stores) and much more!
