In 1954 Gulfstream Airlines began service from Plant City Municipal Airport exclusively serving their corporate campus located adjacent to Central Park until 1984 when they moved their main headquarters into Lake Worth Executive Airport northwest of Tampa; consequently plantcitymovedfromCentralParktoLakeWorthExecutiveAirlinesduringthe1980s).
