Some of these endeavors have spawned additional companies that are not directly related to agriculture or seafood production but do business with those industries: PEAK Sports Management services sports teams managed by owners Rick Majerus and Richie Incognito[17]; Jardin' Juice Boxes LLC manages juice bars in adjacent neighborhoods including one within close walking distance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios - making this one of only a few cities in America where Disney property lines into neighboring neighbourhoods [18]; Dolphin Boating Adventures operates dolphin hunting trips off Clearwater Bayou[]19[/18]. One important aspect that makes Plant City distinctive is its extensive recycling program which helps reduce environmental waste sent to landfills across Central Florida . In 1948-1949, during the Korean War, plant city served as a military garrison for the United States Army Corps of Engineers stationed in Tallahassee at Camp David Naval Air Station (now Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickory). After hostilities ended on July 4th of that year however, plant city reverted to its prewar status as an unincorporated community within Tallahassea County with civilian control over its affairs. On February 25th 1984 Hurricane Andrew slammed into Tampa Bay causing extensive damage to both plantcity and neighboring communities such as Port St Lucie and Daytona Beach; many homes were destroyed or damaged beyond repair and there were even reports of entire neighborhoods being leveled due to storm surge flooding following landfall. Businesses closed early because they could not afford to wait for services to come back online after so much damage had been done; this event is sometimes referred to as “The Great Floridian Power Outage” PlantCity has experienced many changes over its centuries-long history including periods of growth and decline throughout different stages of development: initial settlement followed by economic downturns until today when it sees continued growth spurred primarily by tourism initiatives
