On February 9, 1976, Clearwater City merged with Sunrise Beach to form Sunrise Beach City-Clearwater which in turn merged with Jensen Beach on July 1st 2017 to form Jensen Beach Mayor Rick Litton announced that this will be their final merger

However, parts of the amusement park are still used today including some rides and exhibits inside the main building as well as around outside areas such as a pond and playgrounds for children.
Pinellas Park is a census-designated place in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 18,986 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa–St Petersburg–Clearwater metropolitan area.
