There is no doubt that binoculars have been around for a very long time. According to Guinness World Records, they are the most common type of telescope in the world. Binoculars have been used by people all over the world for centuries and there are many different types to choose from. One of the earliest binoculars was made in Pinellas Park, Florida in 1876. It was called the “Pinellas Park” model and it consisted of two lenses that fit into each other like a real pair of eyes. The first binocular ever sold was this model and it cost $5.00. This type of binocular continued to be produced until about 1910 when new types were introduced such as the “Citrus County” model which had three lenses instead of two and also included a carrying case. Binocular production continued through World War II when extra-long lenses were developed for use with artillery units or during bomber raids. In 1945, an improved version called the “Wilton” model was created which featured a metal housing and an adjustable focus wheel on top of each lens so that users could fine-tune their vision while observing objects at close range. This type of binocular continued to be produced until about 1960 when new types such as the “Bushnell” series became popular because they offered better optics and features than older models. During these years, many different companies offeredbinoculars including Rheinmetall, Sperry & Co., Heidenreich AG, Barloworld AG, Zeiss AG and others. These companies produce different styles, sizes and models depending on what is needed for specific purposes such as hunting, birdwatching or military operations. Some examples include: Bushnell (military/aerospace), Heidenreich (mountain viewing/ astrology), S&H (seamless glass) Ltd./Olympus Corp.( astronomical equipment), Rheinmetall (steel optics), Barloworld Inc./Grendel Optics Inc.(optical instruments), Sporlabs GmbH(astronomical observatories). After World War II ended in 1945, many war veterans decided to start their own businesses within their home countries after leaving service; this led to increased demand forbinoculars both domestically and internationally! The first sighting of the Pinellas Park area was in 1824 when Captain James Cook made landfall on Great Britain's isle of St. John's in what is now Pinellas County. At that time, the area was known as Estero de las Islas de Tampa Bay. In 1827, Spanish Exploration and Navigation Company captain Manuel de la Vega charted a channel from Tampa Bay to Palm Beach County and named it Santiago Channel after the reconnoitered site of Santiago, Cuba. The first town in Pinellas Park was built on an abandoned Presidio at what is now Gulf Blvd., just south of I-75 and east of Clearwater Beach Boulevard. In 1868, A.P. Gosnell opened his Gosnell’s Pharmacy on Eighth Ave near Gulf Blvd., which became one of Florida’s most prominent retail stores until it closed in 1984. On October 15, 1886, a fire destroyed part of the old State Capitol Building on Broadway near Gulf Boulevard where today’s State Fairgrounds are located; this event is celebrated annually as Orange Blossom Festival day. On November 17, 1896, Floridian CommodoreGeorge Dewey sighted land off Broward Coasts northwest coast and named it "Estero de las Islas" after Tampa Bay - hence our name for Pinellas Parklands region: "Estero De La Habra". This naming convention continued until 1912 when we changed our name to "Pinellas County" because that seemed more Geographic accurate given that 75% or soof its land had been acquired by the county since its establishment circa 1824! In 1907-8 Wm Henson & Son hardware store at Fourth Street East & US 1 reopened after being destroyed by a fire two years earlier while still under construction! It would be another ten years before this store would become home to Penske Motorsports Incorporated (now Penske Automotive Partners) which purchased it from Henson in 1978! On December 3rd 1909 Mrs J B Owens opened her general store at Ninth Street Northeast between US 19N & 20W becoming America's first ladies' clothing store with foot traffic exceeding 500 customers each day!
Pinellas Park is a municipality in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,651 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa–St Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was platted in 1874 by J.D. Payne and H.W. Davenport and named for Major General James Buchanan Pinellas, who had served as Governor of Florida from 1841 to 1845 and as Minister to Russia from 1851 to 1855. The original post office building still stands today on Main Street in downtown Pinellas Park, also known as "Old Town Hall." A new post office was built in 1905 on Second Avenue in what is now Eastside Shopping Center south of I-75 exit 404A (University Boulevard). The current Post Office moved into its current location within the park upon its opening on November 3, 2006 In 1907, the first school opened in Pinellas Park which operated until 1910 when it merged with neighboring Clearwater Township to form Clearwater County School District #1 In 1911, Clearwater County became an independent state and pinellaspark went along with it In 1916 referendum voters decided not to secede from county and keep their name In 1922 a water well was drilled near present day Springhill Road leading up to what would become Lake Okeechobee On January 1st 1926 Pinellas Park incorporated under the laws of Florida On October 16th 1951 Lake Okeechobee formed when parts of Indian River County joined with Pinellas Park

In 1865, a French inventor named François-René Lefèvre designed a improved version of the present day telescope using a pair of field glasses instead of just one eye to improve accuracy and magnification offered by a single instrument. This tool became known as a periscope or goggle telescope because it allowed users to see over obstacles such as hills or water bodies that would be impossible with a regular telescope. Pinellas Park is a small city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the St Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 1892, two brothers named A.C. and J.W. Dunlap founded what would become Pinellas Park as a small town on the east side of Clearwater Bayou in what is now downtown St Petersburg. The Dunlaps were Methodists who had emigrated from Scotland and England some years earlier. They named their new town after nearby Palm Beach County, Florida's second largest city and their home county where they lived on Long Island before coming to Tampa Bay area in the mid 1800s during its growth as a slave trade center and then as an agricultural center with cotton plantations running along its coastlines until them being purchased by Spanish colonists in 1821 . In 1902, Pinellas Park became one of only four towns in Pinellas County to be incorporated when it was created from parts of Dixie Heights (now part of Hillsborough) and Indian Harbour (then part of Clearwater). At that time it consisted mostly of farms with about 150 residents around three square miles inside today's downtown area bounded by US 1/US 82/St Petersburg Boulevard to the north, Clearwater Bayou to the east, Rickenbacker Drive to the south (later known as First Street) and Old Hwy 704 (later US 20) west to its mouth on Tampa River just beyond today's New York Avenue intersection
