Although annexation did not result in a change of name for Pinecrest because it remains within Kissimmee City Limits, incorporation created an official government structure for Pinecrest which has continued since then with limited interruptions during special elections or other events unrelated to town governance or operations). In 1949, pineapples were grown in earnest on 7 acres (2 ha) near current-day West Palm Beach Boulevard and East 146th Street; about 40% of all local produce would be exported for export during this time The first post office in Pinecrest opened on December 14th 1912 under the name "West Palm Beach". It served residents from both villages until 1915 when it became "Pinecrest". The first telephone service arrived in 1928 using leased lines from Hillsborough Telephone Company; by 1930 there were ten telephones in operation with three extensions available for use by residents outside their village limits In 1938 an electric light plant was established in neighboring West Palm Beach which led to increased economic development around Pinecrest with operations becoming centered around manufacturing: among these businesses were two pineapple processors/packers/shippers founded by Jerald Wahlgren and his brother Harry Wahlgren who would later join forces with their father Julius Weinreb to open what became known as Weinreb Brothers Poultry Processing Incorporated originally located on SW 159TH STREET & SW 145TH AVE., now defunct but still extant as part of our company’s lore This period also saw new housing developments popping up such as Park Place Estates developed by Alvin Karpis following World War II veteran's return home after serving aboard USS Oklahoma . Initially residing within City Limits but eventually expanding out into unincorporated territory . On July 1st 1969 Village voted not To Allow annexation into Coral Gairs creating a sense of autonomy lacking since much like how they themselves had evolved over time ..... ever since! This decision represents another example where democracy reigns supreme!
