From 1898 until 1903, John A Sayers supervised construction at what is now Point Breeze Beach Boulevard on Mobile Bayou between Eighth Street and Ninth Street; during this time period he also served as Mayor of Pensacolas historic district from 1899 until 1902. In 1901, pencil manufacturer Nicholas Witte moved his operations from New York City to Tampa Heights (now Tampa), Fla., where he founded Witte pencil manufacturing company with his brother-in-law Jacob Weisbach; these operations remained active until 1923 when they were merged into Youngstown Whitworth Corporation’s production line for lead pencils at its main plant located at 4200 NW 30th Avenue Suite 610 West Miami Gardens FL 33193USA . This factory continued production through World War II before being closed down due to wartime restrictions on lead content . At its peak production level during World War II it produced more than 1 million pieces per day !
