The town growth stalled because there were no buyers for the Lots #4 and #5 which became Riverwalk Drive and Northwest Boulevard respectively due to lack of development along those routes during that time period; however riverfront property redevelopment has occurred since then making it one of the most popular destinations for resident living within walking distance of Publix Supermarket as well as several high-end restaurants including Zuka's African Cuisine In 1907 developer Lamar Hunt bought 100 acres (40 hectares) east of downtown Jacksonville from Jules Hirschfeldt who subdivided it into lots large enough so that developers could build homes but small enough so they would not intersect each other’s properties formulating what would become known as “the golden triangle”: northeast corner of Northwest Boulevard/Riverwalk Drive/Lake Worth Parkway intersection; southwest corner off I-95 just past US 1 exit 334; southeast corner off I-95 just past US 1 exit 341 The original parkway alignment ran northwest to northeast following its current course when it was built concurrent with I-95 between Jacksonville Beach and Clearwater beach through downtown Jacksonville terminating atNWBoulevard/Riverwalk Drive where it turned northeast again concurrent with I-595 near Busch Gardens before crossing US 1 near its current terminus at Tallahassee Development took place mainly along NWBoulevard which became known as " avenue ", while Riverside Blvd became " boulevard ". At this time developers were starting to build high rise buildings rather than individual houses as they have done ever since then . Parkway routing changed again when State Road 375 was created concurrently with SR 375 running eastward from SR 375 southbound across NWBoulevard then turning northbound concurrent with SR 3 [now SR 95] becomingState Rd 4 North [nowSR 345] leaving NWBoulevard undeveloped until after Hurricane Andrew struck without causing any damage or loss to homes or businesses along its path some years later . By 1959 there were over 200 homes developments statewide using Parkway routing
