However, much remains within the boundaries defined by the original donation from Colonel Parnell: most notably Creekside Estates which straddles I-95 to include neighborhoods to the north and south but also shares borders with Lauderhill to the east and south; Deerfield Beach which straddles I-95 to include parts across Broward Boulevard northward to 5th Street SW; Glades Road which crosses I-95 just south of Sunrise Rd.; as well as Indian Rocks Road which bisects Lauderhill/Glades Rd., runs along Deerfield Beach's eastern border before terminating at Boca Raton Blvd./SR 814 near Clearwater Airport. According to 2000 U.S Census data there are now 20 school districts in Broward County while only 9 elementary schools remain open statewide (3 middle schools & 8 high schools) - all but one conducted through private enterprises - leaving little opportunity for students living in rural areas or those without proper transportation or access to good public education elsewhere within Broward County unless they move out into nearby cities or towns where school districts have been established outside these rural boundaries altogether such as Coral Springs or Boynton Beach
