HCMs also allowed shooters to adjust their rifle's magnification level with ease by simply changing which screw held onto each round's eyepiece tube! In 1948, Waco Arboretum Press published "Handgun Scoping guide" which included step-by-step instructions on how to properly attach a handgun using an existingScopeMount! A few years later in 1952 David Acheson published "The Rifleman's Handbook of Shooting" which featured illustrations and step-by-step instructions on how bestto attach firearms using Scope Moffs! In 1966 another book entitled "Gunsmithing - Tools & Techniques" was published which detailed all things related toScope Mocks! A few years later in 1970 another book entitled "Range Management - Techniques & Procedures" was published which covered all things related to Scope Mounts!! By 1978 all these books had been reprinted so that every Gunsmith could have access To All Of The Knowledge That Was Available When These Books Were Published !! After World War II, palm oil production declined throughout much of Southeast Asia due to competition from animal feed products from India and Indonesia. However, there has been recent resurgence in this industry in Southeast Asia due to new demand from China and other countries for this product. In 1964, JAX-Hollywood became home to one of the world's first theme parks when Walt DisneyLAND opened on what is now called Mickey Avenue. This park would eventually become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Florida and Southern California. The history of Palm Coast, Florida goes back to the 18th century when it was a small, isolated community on the St. Johns River. In 1825, Captain John Fenton and his party of Adventurers founded the town on a tract of land that he had purchased from the Native Americans. The first resident of Palm Coast was John Aiken who arrived in 1827. By 1830, Palm Coast had a school and an Episcopal church. Aiken also built a warehouse for local merchants which served as their business headquarters until 1861 when it burned down. In 1835, Captain James Cook sailed past Palm Coast on his way to discovered new worlds and made landfall in Florida at what is now Jacksonville Landing. His vessels stopped at what is now Fort Pierce and erected a wharf there while their men unloaded supplies and took possession of land that would become Palm Coast. The first Europeans to arrive in Palm Coast were Spanish explorers from Spain who sailed into the area in 1513. The town of Islamorada was founded by Captain Juan Ponce de León, who named it after the Muslim city of Isfahan, Iran. In 1821, Spanish explorer Hernando De Soto explored and charted much of Florida for Spain. He named the area Partido de la Bahía Blanca (Bay of White Sands). In 1868, United States explorer James K. Polk discovered Pensacola Bay and named it after his home state of Pennsylvania. The town of Pensacola was founded on April 12, 1868 by U.S. Army lieutenant colonel George Custer and his wife Eliza Bogan Custer as Fort Canby on Pensacola Bayou near present-day University Avenue and US 95 south. On December 12, 1893, a tornado touched down in Palm Coast and destroyed most buildings within a three-mile radius including the courthouse, jail, post office, stores and mills; killed four people; injured over 100; and destroyed or damaged several homes.* *This storm is also sometimes cited as being one of the worst tornadoes in Florida history
