During this time period palm oil production also began to become a significant factor in local economic development; today palm oil continues to be an important component of local economy as well as state economy through processing plants located throughout the area. The current incarnation of Palm Coast began efforts to revitalize its downtown core following Hurricane Irma which damaged most buildings but did not completely destroy them; much like other parts of coastal Florida which have bounced back quickly from natural disasters such as hurricanes or floods etc., much credit goes to Mayor Randy Singer who championed redevelopment efforts while working closely with developers and city planners who developed plans that honored historical locations while creating new neighborhoods that would be attractive to families as well as entrepreneurs/workers looking for quality living options close to job centers and restaurants etc.; ultimately resulting in increased sales activity along with improved infrastructure which has resurrected much of downtown cores acrossbrevard Counties – making it one destination you want to visit!
