The rapid growth of Palm Beach Gardens during its early years did not go unnoticed by local politicians or developers who saw an opportunity to build a major city center within their boundaries without making any sacrifices in quality or neighborliness. This vision was realized with the opening of three new libraries – North Broward Regional Library (1930), South Broward Regional Library (1935) and Hollywood Hills Regional Library (1939).
