The late 1920s were a time of great change for Orlando optics because new technologies were coming into play such as digital photography and color printing technology - both which had an impact on optometry! In 1929 First Photographers SupplyCo., Inc.'s son-in-law Wm Burchfield introduced tintypes into the industry with his patented "Burchfield Scanner" product - an early form of scanner printing technology that allowed users to print photos directly onto paper! Soon thereafter other companies began incorporating this technology into their products including Kodak Graphics Products USA (), Fuji Film Manufacturing Corporation (), Polaroid Corporation () and others! With so many new companies entering the market it was no wonder that there were so many novelties, advancements and innovations available during this period! This growth continued through World War II as production increased for military applications such as camouflage clothing or olive drab uniforms! In 1945 proprietor Wm Burchfield passed away leaving his company heirless but not without leaving behind a rich legacy within Orlando optics!.
