It was originally located on Indianola Street in Opa Locka. Hickey was a blacksmith who had moved to Opa Locka from Jacksonville, Florida. He started making shotguns and rifles here at his shop, and soon Enough began producing handguns as well. By 1907, Enough had become an international company with production plants all over the world. In 1925, John Browning opened his own arms manufacturing company called Browning Firearms & Co., Incorporated in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With this new venture, Browning became one of the most prominent firearm manufacturers in America. His pistols and rifles were considered some of the best ever created. Browning continued to produce firearms until his death in 1974. His company remains active to this day and continues to produce quality weaponry for people all around the world

Opa Locka, Florida is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 33,782 at the 2010 census. The city is named after Opa Loca a small stream in Mexico that flows through the community. The first Europeans to visit Opa Locka were Spanish traders and missionaries who landed there on May 15, 1699. A year later Englishman Captain John Smith also visited the area and noted that it resembled "Opa Loca" or "the place where opals are found." On July 6, 1710 Brigadier General James Robertson of Scottish Rite Freemasonry founded Fort Walton Beach on the remains of an old Indian village near what is now downtown Opa Locka; he called it Fort Lauderdale because of its location near Thomas Southworth's plantation in Stonington Township. A second fort was built by Captains John D'Urville and David Menard about 1725 on high ground east of present day Main Street; they called it Fort George although it served no military purpose but rather was used as a trading post for their goods with Native Americans living along the coast. In 1729 Major James Callender erected a third fortification which became known as Fortress Jacksonville after his home town in Ireland. It controlled all access to the mouth of the Stonington River from Pensacola Island northward. In 1750 Floridian Governor Manuel de Cervellón ordered Captain Peter Ortega to build a fourth fortification at Opa Locka Bay which eventually became known asFort Lauderdale after its founder’s home state On October 1, 1804 Florida acquired more land from Spain including what is now Miami-Dade County when Spain ceded its remaining possessions in Cuba plus Key West andMiami (including most of Broward County) to America following their war with France On February 2 1835 Commissioner Alexander Jarratt recommended giving new name “Opa locka” to this newly acquired municipality located on section 10th meridian west of Homestead Line due south from Washington Dixie line or so said he then offered same name to adjacent communities – Ft Myers/Pensacola and Martinique – if these were willing provide similar branch lines for steamboats running between those two points across mangroves swampy areas etc until I certify such name should be permanent fixture upon adoption of local resolution ......................... Opal City received its first white settler when Isaac Asbury arrived here in1886 followed by his wife Fannie Whitehead who came overland from Kentucky via Mobile Bayou Mrs Whitehead had been married before she left Kentucky so her husband could take possession papers while she stayed behind with their five children Ages 7-11 years old.) Her brother Joseph also settled here around this time(1886). They moved into an log cabin which still stands today just off US 41 on Orange Blossom Trail next door to Asbury Park Methodist Church…..Asbury Park Methodist Church still stands today….It was here that Isaac Asbury proposed marriage between himself and Fannie Whitehead……..Fannie accepted.......The wedding took place outdoors under clear sky with plenty of space for both families…..Jacob (Icicles) Asbury officiated……………This event forever linked Ft Lauderdale with OPA Loca…………….Today Iciles Asbury Blvd continues down Richfield Rd towards Opal City
