In 1922, Fenton Instruments bought Cooke's patents for the Lunatic telescope and produced a model with three mirrors instead of two. This version became known as the Fenton-Owen Telescope because its director, Arthur Owen, was responsible for developing it. The Lunatic telescope was later replaced by an electronic observatory called the Ostroscope in 1969 which allowed users to view images on television or computer screens directly from their Telescopes!
