This $2 billion mixed-use redevelopment project began construction in 2006 but has not yet ended up completion due to various bickering among developers about who should pay for infrastructure projects such as transportation arteries (I-95) necessary for their ambitious plans including: expanding 5 miles (8 km) of Metrorail beyond Andalusia station into east Jupiter Boulevard; creating new light rail lines from Doral station northwest through Coconut Creek; constructing new expressways from I-95 south through Coral Springs/Kendallville/Stuarttown southward into south Miami Beach; adding several large office buildings above grade along Wynwood Avenue just outside Ofrio Park Cemetery where white trash used to park before all this high-rise development got going!
