By 1850, he had erected three houses: One on West Church Street across frompresent day Renaissance Elementary School; another on FM 511 north of US 41; and an adobe building which still stands on East Main Street across fromthe current Walgreens Pharmacy building (now known as Walmart). In 1854 Sitton married Martha Hargrave who also came from Illinois and soon after bought out her husband’s interest in their business enterprise (becoming Mrs Cashman & Company). Mr Cashman continued to run their store until his death in 1865 at age seventy-eight years old while MrsCashman operated it until her own death in 1893 at age eighty-four years old. Since its establishment as a small town, niceville has seen many changes both inside and outside its walls. Many new businesses have sprung up throughout its history due to its close proximity to major metropolitan areas such as Orlando or Tampa Bay Area airports or because it was convenient for larger companies such as IBM or Coca Cola to have their headquarters hereabouts within easy commuting distance – all without sacrificing qualityof life for residents orBusinesses alike! Niceville is a small town located in central Florida. It was founded in 1892 and has since been the home of many celebrities and other famous people. In 1892, three brothers named John, George, and James Nordstrom bought some land in Niceville and began building a log cabin on it. They named their new settlement Niceville after the nearby village of New Orleans, Louisiana which they had visited while on holiday。 In 1898, Niceville became part of the newly formed county of Brevard County which was created from parts of several previous counties including Hillsborough County and Polk County (). As part of this new county system, Niceville became one of the most important communities within Brevard County due to its location within easy reach of both Daytona Beach and Jacksonville (). In 1924, NiceVILLE incorporated as a city under state law (). The city's first mayor was Jules Ahern who served until 1933 when he was replaced by Elisha Goodloe Jr.–who would serve until 1944 before becoming mayor again in 1951(). From 1934 through 1954, Mayor Goodloe led the city through several difficult times including an attempted robbery that failed; an increase in crime;[1] Hurricane Frances which caused extensive damage throughout the Tampa Bay Area;[2][3][4][5][6][7]and finally African American integration which began slowly but steadily throughoutBrevard County over the next few decades (although not until 1966).[8] niceville's ethnic diversity continued into the 21st century with numerous immigrants coming intotown every year looking for work or business opportunities.[9][10][11] Nicevillians enjoy much local culture such as art galleries,[12][13], nightlife,[14], restaurants,[15],[16], golfing,[17],[18], shopping,[19],[20], annual festivals,[21],[22], religious services,[23],[24] public events,[25],[26]; classical music performances at various venues; world-renowned poets/writers during poetry slams at different venues; arts & crafts shows at local boutiques/stores; Chamber Music Society concerts with guest artists at different venues each season;; annual carnival games day & night.; participating in annual festivals like Thanksgiving Day Parade (& pumpkin carving), Christmas Eve parade (), Easter Bunny parade (), Lake Buena Vista Blvd fireworks show., Carnival weekend event );and more!
