The factory closed in 2001 but reopened as Goodyear’s Corporate Headquarters Museum later that year before being sold to Penske Automotive Group in 2018 which renovated it into an Auto Parts emporium called Penzkle Chevrolet Parts & Equipment Museum which continues to open each weeknight throughout fall and winter with activities such as car shows, autocrosses, etc.; additionally there are numerous displays about the history of Penske Cars including some from before World War II! In 2019 Enterprise Parks Inc., owners of SunTrust Park announced plans for development adjacent to Suntrust Park consisting of over 20 million square feet (18 acres) including office space within walking distance of both stadiums along with hotel rooms, restaurants and retail spaces totaling over $1 billion dollars! This represents a major commitment by Enterprise Parks Inc., who have been majority owner or operator of both stadiums since their inception, to keep them operational through 2024!
