In 1939 another addition was made to this range; this time an 8x42mm rifle gallery was added which would seat up to 16 people with plenty of space inside and outside if needed! These ranges continue until today as well as being used as civilian fields only! On November 16, 1907, Governor Jepson sent a proclamation recognizing Seminole Tribe land east of Lake Okeechobee as part of Hillsborough County. On December 12, 1907, voters approved a referendum creating Mount Dora Township within Hillsborough County; however, this referendum did not take place because no ballots were received from various areas within Hillsborough County due to lack of voting equipment at the time.
