Miami, Florida is home to the world's third-largest concentration of firearms. The city has a rich firearm history dating back to the 18th century when it was known as Spanish Fort. In 1801, when Spain reacquired control over Cuba from US at the Treaty of Paris following its war with Napoleon Bonaparte, it established Santo Domingo unido de Santo Tomás as an autonomous province of Cuba with jurisdiction over all Cuban islands including Santiago de Cuba whereafter called "Santo Domingo" or "Cuba". On July 4th 1809 guidelines for land titles were published online designating 'all public lands lying between cape Coral Creek on the north side...and bayosa creek on the south side extending towards Key Biscayne' watershed including all sections within what is now known as Miami Beach This designation applied only to those portions lying within Flagler County since most (if not all) land east of I-95 was owned byenergetic Ute Tribe Indians whose territory extended into Everglades National Park & Bayou Teche which formed part of Pensacola Indian Reservation before being purchased by Spanish colonists some time prior thereto

After the French and British occupied Cuba in 1805, Spain assumed control of the island. On February 26, 1907, Miami became a city with a population of about 25,000 people. The first post office in Miami opened on March 1, 1907. In 1912, the Miami Heat (now the NBA's Miami HEAT) were formed as an amateur team playing in small-time American leagues. In 1922, construction began on what is today Marlins Park and it opened in 1926 as one of the most famous sports venues in America. The stadium hosted both World Series championships for both baseball (1927) and basketball ( 1938). It also served as home to several other professional teams during its operating years including the Dolphins (1946-1991), Heat (1992-2002), Marlins (2003-present), Orlando Magic (2006-2015) and FC Barcelona (' La Liga' or ' La Liga 2') from 1998 to 2007 when they left Spain for Catalonia because of political reasons
