This firearm is still used today and is considered to be one of the most versatile firearms ever created. The history of the revolver can be traced back to 1857 when Eli Whitney designed and created the first revolver. He named his invention the “Reefer” because it could be fired with only one hand (the other hand being used to cock it). The gun was so successful that he continued to produce them until 1892. In those years, revolvers were also becoming more popular among military personnel and police officers. They became known as “police guns” because they could fire multiple rounds per minute compared to other handguns of their time. The popularity of revolvers eventually led to their inclusion in legislation throughout America. In 1865, Congress passed a law that allowed for citizens of America to purchase any type of rifle or shotgun without a permit from local authorities. This law helped make firearms more accessible for everyone and made them more common among British Americans as well. By 1920, pistols had become an almost universal part of American society and Revolvers were once again making up a large percentage of handgun sales due to their ease-of-use and firepower potential.

Portuguese ships sailing downriver stopped off Miramar Beach intermittently for supplies before continuing their journey upriver toward Havana harbor where they arrived on January 10th, 1636; this discovery initiated trade between Havana Harbor and Port Royal(present day Fort Lauderdale) which continues to this day! On February 14th Governor Manuel Velasco De La Torre approved plans for construction of an extensive public works program including a road from Santa Clara Valley east through Doral into Everglades National Park; construction began in March but failed due to difficult weather conditions so Velasco ordered its abandonment effective April 8th Dutch navigator Willem Janszoon charted an route northwest via Jupiter Island linking Lake Okeechobee with Lake Worth then north through Lighthouse Point thence east along Cutler Blvd northeast past Marlins Ballpark & south past I-95 just beyond milepost 317Hwy running parallel thereto abutting Everglades National Park boundary.– This route became known as 'Jupiter Road'. discovering potential sugar cane acreage near present day Opa Locka – Purchased land around 1810 near what would become Opa Locka from Pedro Menéndez de Avilés – Opened production shortly after arrival plantation grew rapidly becoming one of largest sugar plantations ever created
