Gun Targets History in Miami Springs, Florida began as a small Cabela's Sporting Goods store in the early 1960s. The store was located on State Road A1A just outside of town on the corner of County Road 6 and U.S. Highway 1. It was one of the first firearms stores in South Florida and it quickly became a favorite destination for shooters and hunters. The store continued to be open until 1992 when it closed its doors forever after serving customers for over 60 years. The Gun Targets store is significant not only because it played an important role in firearm history in South Florida, but also because it represented a unique culture within the gun industry that continues to influence firearms stores across the United States today. The Culture at Gun Targets was characterized by customer service that was second to none and a relaxed atmosphere where customers could come shopping for handguns, shotguns, rifles, or anything else related to shooting and hunting. This friendly environment helped shape what has become today’s American shooting culture – one where customers are treated with respect and common courtesy no matter what type of firearm they purchase. Today’s Gun Targets is home to many of the same employees who served at the original store back in 1962- including current managers Roderick Frazier and Jeff Laddick – both formerly employees of FNRA (National Firearms Association) headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. Both men are longtime friends of Headhunters Shooting Sports Club owner/operator Rich Sauer who used to work at FNRA as well before he started his own business eight years ago. In addition to mainstays like candy bars, root beer floats, Slurpee machines, cigarettes (for all ages), T-shirts (limited time only), live music every weekend during March Madness tournaments (!), there is also a very large selection of assault weapons available for purchase including high-power rifle ammunition! It’s been said that nothing brings people together like firearms shopping - whether it’s among friends or family; at Gun Targets you can find both! Miami Springs is a small town in Broward County, Florida. It is located on the eastern coast of Miami-Dade County. The population was 3,712 at the 2000 census. As of the 2010 census, its population was 4,098. Miami Springs began as a small community of about seventy residents along Miami's southern shoreline in 1915. The town became well known for its crystal clear waters and white sand beaches that can be found nearby throughout Miami-Dade County. In recent years, however, Miami Springs has seen significant growth due to its location close to major metropolitan areas such as Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood and its wide variety of tourist attractions including several golf courses, shopping malls, restaurants and resorts. The area now known as Miami Springs was originally part of the ancient Indian reserve called Mocamaooca which lies south of what is now downtown Miami Beach on Biscayne Bay. A post office was established in 1916 at present day Miami Springs by Lillo Ponce de Leon authorities with mail delivered from Key West and other points west which then connected via boat to Mocamaooca. during World War I there were over fifty residences built here by war veterans who returned home after hostilities ended; many more were added during the post-war boom when jobs opened up in new industries such as shipbuilding and fishing following America's entry into World War II . Nearby Coconut Grove had only a few residents in 1907 when developers started building up what would become one of South Florida's most prominent neighborhoods today anchored by Coral Gables and Building #1 (now One Coral Gables Drive). At first it consisted mostly of tracts owned or leased by wealthy white men seeking easy access to all that rich coastal land northward from Harvey Milk's old home on Biscayne Boulevard - all too easy for young black males like Marvin Gaye or Willie Dixon to take advantage of given their connections to local law enforcement officials like Captain Tom Collins (later First Deputy Police Chief) and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (future Governor Carlos Menem). With rapid construction activity taking place all around Coconut Grove—including what would become Little Havana—the area quickly became one ofSouth Florida’s most vibrant commercial districts within commuting distance for both blacks and whites alike."
