However some heavy industry has cropped up around Interstate 95 which runs through the center of town: two largest employers are AIG World Financial Group Incorporated which built two large towers downtown after being acquired by Bank Of America Merrill Lynch from JPMorgan Chase & Co.,[1]and Invesco Plc.,the world’s largest reinsurer for energy companies,[2] both having major operations outside their original buildings but still considered part of the downtown district because they control access to I-95 corridor
