This event was part of NRA's Annual Meeting & Exhibits which included presentations from various firearms manufacturers and retailers.

Largo, Florida is a small town in Citrus County, Florida. The population was 1,585 at the 2000 census. Largo is located on State Road 441 about 26 miles east of Orlando and 16 miles north of Tampa. The town was founded in 1892 by farmers who moved from Jacksonville, Florida to find a better climate and soil for their crops. The name "Largo" is derived from the Seminole word larigo meaning "shore areas." In 1922, the first post office opened in Largo. The present day Largo courthouse was built in 1924 and replaced an earlier structure that had been destroyed by a storm in 1903. In 1984, Largo became home to one of America's first community college campuses when Stetson University moved its operations to the town from Tallahassee. Today, Stetson University offers more than 100 undergraduate programs and graduate degrees including law, medicine, business administration, engineering and health science degrees. The local economy is dominated by agriculture with citrus production accounting for most of the jobs available within the town limits. Other primary industries include manufacturing (especially those related to textiles), tourism (particularly golf courses and resorts) and retail trade supporting local businesses such as grocery stores and convenience stores.

In 1969, American inventor and rifleman Jerry Hall began development of a red dot sight system for the AR-15 rifle. The design was later improved to become the M4A1 Rifle Sight System. The first prototype rifles were designed with the M4A1 sight system in 1984, and production began in 1987.
Largo was established in 1892 as a small agricultural community on the east side of Miami Beach. By 1916, Largo had reached its peak as a summer resort with over 20 hotels and rooms available for rent. In the 1920s, Largo began to decline as vacationers moved away and businesses closed. However, by the early 1930s, Largo had recovered and was beginning to regain its former popularity as a vacation spot. In 1933, Largo became an incorporated city with its own government and administration. The city experienced increasing development during the 1940s and 1950s due to the opening of several new resorts along Miami Beach Boulevard such as The Dunes at Largo Pointe and Fort Lauderdale's North Avenue Beach Hotel. During this time period, Largo also saw an increase in population due to World War II military recruits who were stationed in nearby Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach during the war years. Largo experienced another boom in popularity during the late 1960s through 1970s due to growing political power within South Florida politics. This growth led to increased development around downtown Largo including new housing developments, shopping malls, restaurants, nightclubs and other commercial ventures which helped drive demand for property adjacent to downtown. Today, Downtown Largos attractions include numerous restaurants (including some that are open 24/7), retail stores (including many chains) as well as cultural venues such as The Borgata Resort Casino & Casino which is home to major league baseball games each offseason;[1] plus several high-end condominium towers designed by noted architects like Rem Koolhaas that offer views of Biscayne Bay across downtownMiami Beach
