In 1916, the company changed its name to Marine Corps Rifle Scope Corporation. In 1927, the company changed its name again to Jacksonville Beach Camera & Optics Company Ltd. In 1933, the company changed its name yet again to Jacksonville Beach Rifle & Pistol Scope Corporation Ltd. The company continued making riflescopes until 1945 when it moved production to Canada due to WWII shortages of American rifle scopes
