Hialeah Gardens is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 61,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami–Dade Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city began as Hialeah on November 5, 1892 and was named after Major General George Hialeah of the United States Army Corps of Engineers. The first gun mags were published in Hialeah by Wm. Seddon and Bros. This company published "The Gunsmith's Magazine", "The Rifleman" and "The Pistolero". In 1903 Wm Seddon founded Seddon & Sons Shotgun Emporium which published magazines including "National shotgun Journal" (1903-1920), "American rifleman" (1914-1920), and "Guns Illustrated magazine" (1910-1968). By 1914 there were 21 stores in Miami-Dade County including 11 gun shops organized into four divisions - shooting practice; shotguns; revolvers; rifles - while output increased to more than two thousand rounds per week from fifty stores across county! In 1924 E.B Dillon founded Dillon Firearms Company with retail store located at 725 Biscayne Boulevard serving both police officers and civilians as well as military pistols for export to Latin America through John Browning companies such as Browning Arms Corporation and American Arms Corporation until it closed in 1987 due to financial problems. It should be noted that according to the article “Gun Magazines from Hialeah Gardens” by Donny Deutsch dated 12/1/2015 not all of these companies actually died out until 1987 when they closed down due to financial troubles however interestingly enough their products still continue to be sold today under different names some even still being manufactured back home in Florida!

Hialeah Gardens was founded by pioneers who were searching for a new home after moving from Key West, Florida. The city's name comes from its location on Hialeah Bay and from its history of hosting the Hialeah Carnival which took place every year since 1904. The first white people to live in what would become Hialeah Gardens were Spanish missionaries who arrived in 1795. Their mission was to convert Indian people to Christianity and they built a small chapel near present day NW 106th Street and Northwest First Avenue. A few years later, Spaniards transferred ownership of the chapel to Jews who named it "Mendoza". In 1824, American colonists began arriving in what would become Miami and soon found themselves living near where modern day NW 106th Street meets Northwest First Avenue. In 1830, Alonso de Vega bought land atNW 106th Street and First Avenue for $6,000 dollars which he donated to the Presbyterian Church in South America Mission Society (PECS). Upon his death in 1836 due to yellow fever complications contracted while traveling through South America, PECS turned over control of their lands west of Biscayne Bay to Spain for distribution among their members around the world – an event that left an everlasting legacy at NW 106th Street and First Avenue where many families have held onto their homes for generations! In 1892-1893, Mayor James Denny authorized plans by architects Charles Atwood Weir & Brothers for the erection of a large resort called "Casa Lomas" on 9 acres (3 ha) atNW 107thStreet adjacent to today's Municipal Park across SW 108TH Ave from today's NE corner lot with City Hall Building annexed hereinon (today Federal Reserve Bank building). The project cost $325 thousand dollars including costs associated with land acquisition; design; engineering; construction; management; operation; maintenance; etc…which included swimming pools (later known as Sun Life Stadium), tennis courts (now called Marlins Park), golf courses (now watersports complexes such as Hollywood Beach Resort & Casino), zoo(later renamed American Zoological Park), Polo Grounds Athletic Clubhouse/Arcade/Anchor House(later demolished)and numerous other features now existing within our Municipal Park adjacent thereto! The first phase of construction started on October 15th 1893 and ended November 2nd 1893 when all public works were completed except environmental studies pursuant thereto which were terminated without any further progress being made despite repeated requests by Mayor Denny upon completion thereof because he did not want any negative consequences resultant from large crowds having access too close proximity ot Government buildings during holiday seasons! Phase Two commenced on January 3rd 1895 with installation of water mains resulting in increased gas prices throughout town making some citizens quite unhappy however much speculation surrounded this development until final approval was granted by then Mayor Perez on March 12 th 1895…. In 1892, the Miami Corporation granted a deed to Hialeah Gardens. The area was then known as "Tallahassee." The property was bought by the city in 1898 and annexed into the city. It became part of Hialeah Park on December 12, 1912.
