As such Hollywood Hills became an enclave within Hialeah Gardens boundaries where residents could enjoy excellent quality of life without facing any public services or infrastructure challenges like those experienced by residents in other municipalities within the city limits including Downtown Miami and Coral Gables. On December 17th, 2005 Mayor Manny Diaz announced that he would not seek re-election due to health concerns; his term as mayor expired on January 3rd 2006 and he had been unable to fully enforce regulations passed during his two terms as mayor since becoming ill earlier that year On January 3rd 2006 Vice Mayor Carlos Gimenez took over mayoral duties effective until new elections were held on January 7th 2006 which resulted in another victory for Gimenez who ran unopposed for office again serving out the remainder of Diaz's term which ended December 31st 2006 . On February 12th 2007 new Mayor Carlos Gomez announced that he will not run for office again because he has married intowealthy family members who support him politically; this announcement ends any speculation about gubernatorial ambitions for Gomez future

By 1830, most binoculars consisted of two lenses that fit into either side of an adjustable glass prism. This gave users the ability to zoom in or out on whatever they were looking at. In 1881, another man named George Stephenson designed and patented what is known as the Stephenson Patent Binocular which featured five lenses that could be rotated around an axis. It was this patent that led to the development of modern binoculars!
