Hallandale Beach is located in Broward County, Florida and has a population of over 142,000 residents. The city was founded in 1901 by two brothers, Harry and John Hallandale. The original name for the city was "Hollywood." In 1916, movie star James Stewart came to town and opened his own movie theater. Hollywood soon became known as the "City of Stars." In 1957, a new shopping mall was built in downtown Hallandale Beach and it quickly became one of the busiest shopping areas in the area. In 1965, Hallandale Beach hosted its first international open-air concert when Santana played at Suncoast Amphitheater. Over the years, many famous people have visited or resided in Hallandale Beach including Fidel Castro, Elvis Presley, Yoko Ono and Barbara Walters. In 2006, Hurricane Wilma caused extensive damage to Hallandale Beach but no injuries were reported.

Hallandale Beach, Florida is a town located on the north coast of Miami-Dade County in South Florida. As of the 2010 census, its population was 37,609. The town is named after two brothers who founded it in 1902. It became an incorporated municipality in 1959 and has since grown to encompass parts of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The beachfront community started as a small fishing village on the edge of a mangrove swamp near Hallandale Beach State Park. By 1909, when Hallandale’s first post office opened, the place had become known for its fine white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. In 1912, developers bought a tract of land downriver from where Hallandale now stands and began to build a string of large villas called “the Palm Beaches”—a name that would last into the 21st century. In 1960, with increasing development throughout Miami-Dade County and an influx of people looking for nice beaches to live on or visit during their vacation times, Hallandale Beaches petitioned for incorporation as a municipality. The request was granted by then-Mayor Lamar Alexander in December 1959; and within just six months, residents had erected city hall, passed ordinances authorizing businesses such as restaurants and stores to open up shop (an unheard-of feat at that time), built new roads and paths through the swampy terrain around the community center complex (still home today), set up streetlights and installed water systems. Today there are more than 60 businesses operating inside City Hall—including 25 restaurants, 12 bars/pubs/cocktails lounges/diner chains/, 8 hair salons/, 4 jewelers/, 3 physicians/, 2 architects/. As one might expect from such an agricultural area served by only three public schools (one high school) until 1972 when Pinecrest High School opened nearby; while there have been numerous expansions over time due to current growth rates (the population has exploded by almost 10 percent each year since 2000), much remains unchanged about this sleepy seaside town: Its unpolluted environment,[1] rich history,[2] friendly locals[3], endless stretches of white sand which can be reached easily both morning or evening[4], secluded coves perfect for snorkeling or fishing,[5],[6],[7],[8],[9] world-class shopping at local boutiques including Anthropologie[10], Saks Fifth Avenue,[11] Harrods[12], Neiman Marcus[13][14]), top quality dining options like Benares Steakhouse & WineBar[15],[16], Artichoke Pizza)[17], KFC [-18][19][20]; pristinely preserved old homes dating back to 1892–1893 at Belle Isle Plantation Estate House; elegant gated communities like Harbour View Estates [21]-25 along Miami's vibrant skyline; abundant Uncertainty Level data points worth exploring!

Hallandale Beach, Florida is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 33,563 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area. The beachfront communities of Hallandale and Hollywood are located on the Atlantic Coast of Florida. The first settlement in what would become Hallandale Beach was made by Spanish settlers in 1795. In 1837, Captain John Stroud built a wharf and steamboat landing near present-day Hollywood Boulevard and Worth Avenue for shipping goods from Santa Fe to Miami. By 1851, the town had grown to include 150 residents and two stores. In 1892, Captain James Purdy built a house on what is now Flagler Street that became home to several local businesses including J&J's Grocery which still stands today as one of Hallandale Beach's most important institutions. It was also during this time that incorporation as a municipality was considered and passed by vote with 57% in favor over 36% against due to lack of support from other areas within the county seat of Palm Beach controlled by wealthy landowner Hernando De Soto Sr.. On November 4th 1899 an event occurred that would have lasting consequences for both Hallandale Beach and its citizens: The United States Supreme Court ruled in "Purdy v Boardwalk" (14 US 601) that hotels were not subject to local zoning laws which had been put into effect pursuant to state statutes governing townships rather than counties within states such as Florida. This ruling effectively ended any attempt by municipalities or business owners within municipal boundaries to restrict or regulate hotel development on their own soil without prior consent from approved downtown patrons who were then dubbed "lords of the beach". Consequently, developers began large-scale construction directly along Flagler Street and nearby Worth Avenue with no need for permits from elected officials or consultation with adjacent neighborhoods; this caused great resentment among many people living along these streets who saw this type of development as Developers taking advantage of those who could not afford more expensive homes elsewhere while depriving neighboring homeowners of much-needed traffic congestion control benefits their properties enjoyed under previous zoning regulations
