This led directly to current City Manager Bradleys efforts for redevelopment including bringing Convention Center upmarket which began during his tenure Today much remains unchanged from those early days like downtown anchored by Pioneer Hall - now home various restaurants/bars/nightlife options along with housing developments such as Park Place Home Loans which offers mortgages online that are backed by Fannie Mae Additionally development has occurred around Southeastern Boulevard - an arterial road running through most of Downtown that has seen several high profile projects such as PGA Championship golf tournaments taking place at Pinehurst Resort & clubs dating back many years Finally recent development includes new hotels being built near Interstate 95 - giving the area more action than ever before
