Deltona is a city located on the Gulf of Mexico in Duval County, Florida. The population was 54,814 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. Deltona's history began with its location at the mouth of the Stonington River, which provided salt water access for Native American people and later became a key point for fishing by both Spanish and English settlers. The city was founded in 1853 by James Fenton, who named it after his brother-in-law, John Delton. In 1868, Charles Loyd built a wharf and dock on what is now US 98 near present day State Road 604. By 1870, the city had developed into a commercial center with warehouses and cotton plantations surrounding an open market square. The primary industry until World War II was shipbuilding and naval artillery production; however, today most businesses in Deltona are within the education and technology sectors. The climate in Duval County varies greatly from place to place; however, Duval has generally milder weather than other areas along Florida's Gulf Coast due to its proximity to Tampa Bay and mountains inland. That said, there are frequent thunderstorms that can cause significant damage or even loss of life during hurricanes or severe weather events such as Irma or Maria. Development within walking distance allows residents easy access to all that Duval has to offer without having to leave their home

The design was developed in the early 1990s by Aimpoint Technology and first released to the market in 1995. In 2002, the company announced that it would be selling its Red Dot sight line to Glock. Glock later discontinued production of their handguns and replaced them with their new Generation 3 pistols which featured trijicon sights on all models except for 1911 pistols. However, Glock reintroduced the Red Dot sight on some of their newer pistols in early 2018.

Deltona is a small town in Florida, United States. It was founded by the Deltona brothers in 1892. The town has been growing slowly since it was first settled, but its population reached 10,000 people by the early 21st century. The town is named after De Witt ClintonDeltona, who served as U.S. senator from Florida from 1907 to 1912 and as Secretary of War under Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933 to 1945. The town's namesake also helped found Daytona Beach and Clearwater beach communities in north-central Florida in the late 19th century. The area that now includes Deltona was part of Indian Chief Mocama’s hunting ground before European settlement began about 1763 A.D.. By 1800, there were at least ten permanent white households in what is now Deltona; one of which may have been Colonel John Stroud’s store located on US 192 (now US 301) just east of present day downtown Deltona! By 1892, when the first post office was established here, the community had grown to over 100 residents! In 1892 Drury Bros., farmers and men with experience planting cotton fields on swampy land near Tampa Bay set out to do something different: they bought an isolated parcel of upland land five miles northeast of Tampa that then consisted only of wild salt breezes blowing through long grasses and scrub oak treesills known as “the Choctaw Hills”! They named their new development “DelTONA” for De Witt ClintonDeltona – one of America’s leading Founding Fathers! This name stuck and today we continue to call our Main Street “Clinton Avenue” – because that is where it once ran along both sides until a few blocks east became State Road 261 (now US 301). In 1895, when Jacksonville purchased much of what is now central Sarasota County from Native American leaders including Governor Manuel López de Santa Anna and many others during his administration as part of efforts to gain control over key Spanish territory following Mexico's Mexican Revolution; this acquisition included most or all present day DelTONA including all or portions thereof lying within modern Sarasota County boundaries extending into Everglades National Park today! DELTONA COULDN'T BE MORE LOCATED - AGAIN!!! So close yet so far away... From downtown Jacksonville we could see Fort Myers across bayou alive with steamboats loaded with goods bound for Cuba while Lakeland sprawled across hills like green fingers reaching up towards us… Today [in 2019] everything seems so remote despite being right next door! But back then it sure felt very different!! And still does today given how much progress has been made here since then - not just economically but physically too!!!! Thank you for reading my paper 🙂
