In 1907, GUNZONEpublishing began publication in Cooper City. From then until 1971, GUNZONE was the only local gun magazine. In 1971, GUNZONE went out of business and was replaced by COOPER CITY GASPERS. However, COOPER CITY GASPERS published their final issue in 1984 and ceased publication altogether that year. Today, there are severalgun magazines published in Cooper City; however, it remains to be seen which one will become the definitive source for Gun Magazine history in this town!

Cooper City is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 54,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami–Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area and is bordered by South Miami to the south, Biscayne Bay to the east, and Coral Gables to the north. The Cooper City ZIP code (33607) includes all of Cooper City proper as well as parts of South Miami Beach and MidtownMiami. The city was formed on August 29, 1912 from portions of Kendallville and Cutler Heights. For many years it was known simply as Kendallville until it changed its name to Cooper City on November 6, 1957. The first mayor of Cooper City was J.B. Lippincott with his term ending on December 15, 1912; headed by aldermen Wanda Davenport and Clyde Peele; carpentry superintendent Harry Werth served for two terms from 1913 until 1916; then fire chief George Riddle took office from 1917 until 1919 before becoming mayor again in 1921 after which John Aiken held office until 1929 when he became governor during Franklin D Roosevelt's first term as president. After World War II ended in 1945, Cooper City continued growth by annexing neighboring townships including Cutler Heights (1948), Sunrise Pointe (1949), Coconut Grove (1951), Davie (1955), Pinecrest Gardens (1958), Pembroke Park(1959), Garden District#3 (1960) and Horizon Village#1(1971). In 1959 they annexed Snug Harbor which had been an agricultural community adjacent to Kendallville since 1892 along with Belleair Estates located immediately west of Kendallville off US 1/SR 20A south of Everglades Boulevard between Belleair Drive & US 1/SR 20A just north of I-95 exit 5A concurrent with Grandview Blvd., now part of Fort Lauderdale In 1971 they annexed Westiami Beach which had been a separate municipality within Miami-Dade County since 1915 following annexation by Biscayne Bay

This type of magazine often became popular among law enforcement agencies due to its convenience when carrying firearms without having to remove them from their holster every time they needed to change a round in their handgun! beltfed Magazines continued to be popular into the 1970s when new versions began featuring lateral dust coverings on both sides which added stability when firing while wearing gloves or carrying a shield
