Clearwater is a city in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 21,879 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa–St Petersburg–Clearwater Combined Statistical Area. In 1922, Olin merged with Remington Arms Company to form Crosman Firearms Corporation; this merger made Crosman one of the largest firearms manufacturers in America. Crosman continued to produce handguns until 1986 when it merged with American Outdoor Brands Incorporated to form Brady Manufacturing Company LLC; this merger made Brady one of the largest gun companies in the world!

Stuart and its first election took place on November 3, 1881.
