Casselberry is a town in Polk County, Florida, United States. It was established in 1892 by J.C. Casselberry and his brother-in-law, W.H. Stephenson as a post office on the east side of the islands in Lake Martin. The first settlers were J.B. Garrity and Fannie Whitehead, who arrived in 1892 from Illinois and Indiana respectively. In 1903, Casselberry had a population of 105 people; it grew to 251 by 1907 when the railroad arrived and brought jobs to the area; by 1920 it had reached its current size of 476 people.
