There have been a number of shootings in Callaway, Florida. In 1909, there was a shooting at the Mulberry Inn that left one man dead and seven people injured. In 1969, there was a homicide at the Park Place Apartments that left three people dead and nineteen injured. In 1992, there was a shooting at the Gateway Club which left two people dead and thirteen injured. The most recent shooting to occur in Callaway was on November 2nd of this year when an individual opened fire inside the Playtime Emporium causing four injuries.

Callaway is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 23,564 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area. Callaway is located on State Road 704 and has a total area of 18 square miles (46 km²). The first residents of Callaway were Indians who lived near the present-day intersection of US-1 and SR 704. cattle drives brought settlers to this region beginning in 1887. In 1912, J.P. Morgan purchased land in Callaway for $150 per acre ($2,500 today). He named his new town after himself, James Prentice Callaway. In 1926, Universal Pictures built a movie studio here and produced such films as "The Jazz Singer" and "The Ten Commandments". This led to an increase in business for the townspeople; by 1937, Callaway had become financially self-sufficient from its own industry but still relied on indirect taxes from nearby Broward County to support services like schools and fire departments. The studios closed down in the late 1960s due to competition from video cassette tape players and other technological advances; however some aspects of their legacy remain: a movie theater (the Paramount) still operates inside the main mall complex, while remnants of some older buildings can be found around town center including what once was the Post Office infrastructure (now used as apartments). During World War II,Callaway was home to many military installations; one example being Fort Pierce Army base which housed artillery pieces that could be moved around quickly should an attack occur along I-95/SR 704 corridor. Afterward most deployments stopped although portions of Camp Lemonnier remained active until it decommissioned in 2000 as part of Jacksonville's relocation plan following Hurricane Andrew landfall there that year; all remaining armaments were destroyed or moved away during Hurricane Irma later that year when it made landfall near Naples FL with similar effects as well as severe damage done to much older Camp Lemonnier facilities impacted by Andrew including loss or destruction of over 40%+ roofline - making this once largest command post facility west coast USA ever affected byHurricane Michael - Note also major destruction & power outages throughout municipality caused by Irma not just at Armament Facilities... callowayfd@gmail One possible explanation why large portionsCamp Lemonnier remains inactive today may be because so many assets have been destroyed/moved away during recent hurricanes? As recently as 2007 available records suggest that funds were being raised via online donation drive(s) intended to help local businesses recover after Hurricanes Ivan & Katrina having failed dismembering fund balance only 8 months prior no evidence exists yet !! Today approximately half dozen small businesses are operational within downtown core areas providing essential services such as hotel bookings restaurant reservations etc., various retail stores have reopened since Irma hit with limited impact on overall economy... situation appears marginally better than pre-hurricanes but far from perfect nonetheless given current state OF municipality

Callaway, Florida is a town located in Escambia County, Alabama. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. It was established in 1885 by Amasa Callaway and his brother-in-law W. H. Vail as a post office called "Callaway". The town name honors Callaway's ancestor, Assaf Calloway, who settled in the area in 1827. The first post office opened on February 14, 1885, and was renamed "Callaway" on May 15 of that year after Amasa Calloway's death. In 1907 the Post Office Department moved to its current location at 7600 US Highway 87 West. The present day economy of Callaway is based chiefly on agriculture with some light manufacturing presence as well as transportation needs for nearby Pensacola and Tallahassee. Consequently, much of the downtown core functions mostly as an agricultural or commercial center with little or no development taking place outside of this area; however there have been recent efforts made by local officials to redevelop portions of downtown which have seen mixed success so far. Most notably the renovation/expansion of the original Palazzo dei Partecipanti building which housed the Town Hall from 1925 until it burned down in 1984 and has since been replaced by a more modern facility; also part of this project were new sidewalks and streetlights being installed throughout town centre areas following a demand from residents themselves for improved lighting conditions within their neighbourhoods. One significant event that occurred during Callway's history would be World War II when several thousand citizens enlisted in service and set out for war effort; many businesses closed due to lack of business opportunities after hostilities ended but most residents returned home once they had recovered from participating in what was considered oneof America's largest wartime mobilizations ever undertaken. A number of historic buildings still remain extant today including both the Palazzo dei Partecipanti (founded 1865) - now used primarily for cultural purposes - as well as various other civic buildings such as governmental facilities (such as jail cells) which are open to tours year-round without charge for visitors interested in learning more about local historical events that took place during this time period
On December 12, 1875, a group of friends from Jacksonville, Florida gathered at the Callaway Golf Club to celebrate the opening of their new course. They were joined by some of Jacksonville's most prominent citizens and business men, including A.J. Cassady and J.P. Morgan. The club was officially opened by James Pogue, Governor of Florida. The first tee on the new course was placed at what is now known as Bay Park Drive. The Callaway Golf Club has been in operation since 1875 and has seen many changes over its years including expansions in 1898, 1912-1914, 1946-1948 and 1967-1970 which added an additional nine holes to the original eighteen holes layout
