Aftermath of that conflict led to an abundance of weapons available for purchase, which allowed Dickey to start manufacturing firearms again. In 1902, he founded what would become known as Callaway Rifle & Shotgun Company Ltd., which became one of the leading firearm manufacturers in North America. Over time, Dickey has continued to produce high-quality firearms including revolvers (including some models that are still produced today), shotguns, rifles, pistols and even self-loading pistols! In 1954, John Stevens started producing firearms hereunder the name Stevens Arms & Ammunition Co.. His company was purchased by Winchester Repeating Arms Corporation in 1978 and continues production today under the name Winchester Repeating Arms Incorporated (WRA). They manufacture both assault rifles and shotguns including some models that are still beingproduced today!

The post office at Callaway served the town for more than fifty years until it closed in 1970; however, deposits still remain at the building today as part of the town’s official history museum complex housing both municipal offices dating from 1892 through 1970 as well as memorabilia from that era such as calligraphy pens and pieces of paper used by elected officials and residents alike during those years

The community's first course, Playland Golf Course, opened in 1903 and quickly became one of the most popular destinations for golfers in the region. By 1941, Callaway had annexed much of north central Florida and was one of America's largest municipals. In 1957, Callaway moved its corporate headquarters from Gainesville to Orlando. At that time it also became one of America's top corporate locations for businesswomen. In 1989, Callaway merged with PGA TOUR company Tiger Woods' management company to form what would become known as Tour Westwood Management Co., Incorporated (TWMCO). Today Tour Westwood is responsible for all operations at both Full Tilt Poker Championship Series events and other professional tournaments throughout the United States and Canada.
