Many people are still living here though web development has become very popular recently On November 25th 1964 a large hurricane known as Cedar Key Hurricane made landfall near Pensacola Beach after making landfall in Cuba just three days earlier Cedar Key Hurricane killed over 100 people with majority being elderly women or children playing outside while their parents took shelter inside homes After Cedar Key Hurricane most residents chose relocation option called Redesignation Plan which included moving inland away from coastlines especially beaches due to presence Maria(s). After some community meetings held throughout different areas within manatee county everyone agreed upon same plan: relocate 5%~10% population each day until those percentage reaches established inland community’s number then allow residents back into coastal areas once population percentages reach set goals
