Belle Glade, Florida is home to the oldest gun-making shop in the United States. The shop was founded by two brothers, Isaac and Solomon Stillwell, in 1827. The Stillwell Armory has been in operation continuously since that time and still sells firearms today. While other businesses have gone through changes over the years (such as becoming a video game store), the Stillwell Armory has not. Today, it is one of only a few firearm stores left in Florida that still sells rifles, shotguns, handguns and ammunition. This shirt is considered to be one of the earliest firearms t-shirts ever created. In 1923, gunmen opened fire at the LaGuardia Airport in New York City killing 27 people and wounding over 100 others with guns including weapons made by Remington Arms Company and Smith & Wesson Corporation. Gun lobbyist Samuel Colt responded to this attack by producing a coffee mug designed to commemorate the victims of LaGuardia Airport shootings which depicted six handguns spread across four pages - three handguns each page showing two different calibers (7mm/.32 ACP, 9mm Makarov), all sporting various grips (one in right hand grip; one in left hand grip) and all fired from revolvers chambered in 7mm/.32 ACP or 9mm Makarov rounds. In response to this attack, Winchester Manufacturing Company released their own coffee mug depicting six rifles spread across four pages - three rifles each page showing two different calibers (7mm/.32 ACP, 9mm Makarov), all Sporting various Grips (One Left Hand Grip; One Right Hand Grip), All Fired From Revolvers Chambered In 7mm/.32 ACP Or 9mm Makarov Rounds

The history of Belle Glade goes back over 100 years ago when investors gathered around a small pond near what is now Belle Glade Park Lake to decide on where they would establish their new town. They chose the name “BelleGlADE” because they thought it would be beautiful enough for tourists but not too flashy so people wouldn’t think it was worth moving away from their homespun lifestyle. The community quickly grew thanks to word-of-mouth marketing campaigns and easy access to amenities like healthcare and education facilities right at its doorstep. By 1915, there were over 350 people living in Belle Glade! And though times have changed plenty since then – especially with the arrival of subdivisions along I-10 – many things remain constants about this thriving retiree community: stylish architecture designed by internationally renowned architects such as Philip Johnson or Frank Gehry resident institutions like Wesleyan University or Miami University School Of Medicine offer top ranked degrees while neighboring churches offer services vital for everyday life such as First Baptist Church ($200 million dollar gift from Methodists Charitable Foundation) or St John's Episcopal Church ($5 million gift from parents/guardians of students at Flagler Beach High School). In fact one recent report claims that almost half all jobs listed within 1 mile radius are linked directly or indirectly with either one or both schools – making Belle Glade an ideal place not just for those looking to live retired but also professionals looking for exposure into high paying fields!
Belle Glade was founded in 1881 by J.P. Morgan and his partners, who named the community Belle Glade after a small French village in Normandy named Belle-Isle-de-France. The name comes from the phrase "Belle église," which means "beautiful church." The community developed quickly, and by 1905 it had a population of about 1,000 people. By 1912, Belle Glade had become an agricultural center with nearby plantations providing goods for local markets. In the early 1920s, Belle Glade became known as a stop on the Florida East Coast Railway (FEC). In 1925, the FEC merged with other railroad companies to form the American Railroad Corporation (ARCO). ARCO continued to operate Belle Glade as its main business center until it was sold to Conrail in 1970.
