In the late 1800s, Atlantic Beach was a small town in Florida. It was part of the Jacksonville area and had a population of around 10,000 people. firearms were not common in this region at that time, but there were some guns involved in local hunting and fishing competitions. In 1902, two men named George Heninger and Maurice Meeks bought land adjacent to what is now Atlantic Beach Boulevard. They built an agricultural complex on the land that included a mill and outhouses for their workers. The men also built a house on the property to use as their business office. The first gun barrel made in Atlantic Beach was used by Maurice Meeks in 1903 when he won a fishing competition with his Big Boy rifle. At that time, shotguns were not common among these people so handguns were more common. In 1906, Heninger died suddenly and his widow inherited his firearms business which she continued to run until her death in 1941. When she died, her son took over running the business until it passed into private hands again in 1949 when it was sold to Harry Nash of Jacksonville who kept it until 1954 when he donated it to the University of Florida Museum of Art where it is currently on display
Atlantic Beach is a small town located in Palm Beach County, Florida, on the Atlantic Coast. The population was 10,551 at the 2010 census. It is one of two towns along the coast that are considered part of Fort Pierce. The other town is Pompano Beach. The first Europeans to explore what is now Atlantic Beach were Lieutenant John Smith and Captain James Cook in 1795 and 1800 respectively. They mapped out a route for an American fleet sailing from Britain to Cuba with supplies and men-of-war carrying secret information about America's new continent—the land which later became Florida. In 1819, Commodore John Fenton sailed from Pensacola to find a way through the reefs near present-day Fort Pierce and entered what is now Atlantic Beaches through Asbury Park Harbor onto the mainland of South Florida; this was the first time any human had set foot on American soil south of Tampa Bay. The area around present day Atlantic Beach was originally called "Nassau" after Nicholas Nassau, Governor of New Netherland during that time period who donated land for development hereabouts in 1851. In 1876, a post office named "Atlantic Beach" was established by Drayton Witherspoon (owner/operator) on Long Key Peninsula east of Little River just off US 1A between US 1A and mile marker 147th Street N/W (Pompano Boulevard). After years as an unimportant local outpost serving mainly agricultural purposes (including dairying), Witherspoon built his estate here as one of Broward County's most impressive examples of early 20th century self-governing architecture; it remains today one of its most popular tourist destinations despite its modest holdings including only 3 acres (.10 km2) beachfront property dating back to 1901 when Witherspoon made it available for public use freeholds subject only to annual appropriations from county coffers earmarked for public purpose such as education, fire protection etc.). Today you can see all traces--cemented granite walls surrounding 5 hectares (.16 acres or .34 sq mi), well manicured gardens with several ponds including one fed by underground water reserves left over from when palm oil operations were conducted on Long Key Peninsula more than 50 years ago–of this once luxurious manor home which once sat atop a large coral reef more than 200 feet (60 m) deep where mangroves currently fringe Point Oliva lightship berth just offshore giving direct access into harbor waters up to 130 fathoms deep! About 350 cars parked along streets lined with white sandpipers sunbathing while children played at theirBlockbuster video rentals constitutes pretty much everything within walking distance today but no evidence whatsoever that such establishments ever existed prior to 1970 except maybe some very old building posts nearby used as coat hangers by residents then gone away again since restoration work began). Today there are few permanent residents in either town apart from retirees staying year round or occasional family visitors who bring food and gear necessary for exploring both communities’ unique attractions but nothing prevents people form moving in permanently or even seasonally depending on their interests or needs so long as they apply for approval before occupancy begins! And if you think things might get too darn hectic living surrounded all those cars then why not try living closer to home??? ha ha

Atlantic Beach is a small town in Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,912 at the 2010 census. In 1892, the first post office in Atlantic Beach was established and named for Brigadier General James P. Gaines' Company A (1st Florida Infantry). In 1924, the name of the town was changed to Atlantic BEACH after it became part of Miami-Dade County. The town had a population of 682 in 2000 and 5,431 as of the 2010 census. The first store in Atlantic Beach open on Main Street was Fidelity & Smith's Grocery on July 20th 1914. This store closed around 1978 because it could not compete with larger stores such as JCPenney and Sears Roebuck which opened up next door then. In 1980, US Airways moved its headquarters from Fort Lauderdale to Miami and Asiana Airlines followed suit soon afterwards which caused a big increase in traffic along Main Street due to their establishments located near each other. Unfortunately for Atlantic Beach residents who enjoyed watching these airlines come and go over their years there wasn't much else to do except watch them from your living room window! One resident even built an air conditioner unit out of an old refrigerator that he placed outside his home so he could keep cool during those hot summer days! Eventually all three airlines left for good leaving behind a empty storefront and countless memories of what once happened within minutes or seconds away from your house!
