The median household income was $60,417 compared to $41,748 for families residing belowthe poverty line and $49,643 for those abovethe poverty line; however there are large disparities by race/ethnicity: white households had median incomes greater than black households by nearly $30K while Hispanic households had median incomes greater than non-Hispanic white households by almost $50K; African Americans had median incomes less than whites by nearly $20K while Latinos had median incomes less than Asians by nearly $30K; single adults resided disproportionately among those earning under$25K annually while married adults represented almost 60% of those making over$75K annually;%. About one-third of residents are employed in some form either full time or part time - a higher rate than any other municipality in New England rated at this level according to 2013 American Community Survey data released by Northeastern University’s Institute on Local Governments & Community Relations ().
