In 2011 there were also 5 schools serving students within Bridgeport boundaries: Hartford High School (grades 9-12), New Britain Senior High School (grades 8-9), Stonington Jr./Sr. HS (grades 6-8), Lighthouse Christian Academy (grades 4-6), and Westchester Middle School (grades 7-8). All but one are located within walking distance of each other making school options very easily accessible for residents who wish to attend them without departing their homes
