One strap ran down your back and one ran across your chest near your nipples (it is conjectured that this was done to make sure that women could not shoot while wearing this type of holster). This type of holster was very popular among law enforcement personnel because it allowed them to carry their firearms in any position they choose, including shoulder-fired guns such as rifles and shotguns (although at that time shoulder-fired guns were not common). This type of holster also allowed police officers to wear body armor which made them less vulnerable to gunfire from criminals or other attackers who may be trying to rob them or worse.

Windsor, Colorado is a small town in the Eagle County region of Colorado. The population was 921 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Westminster–Aurora, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. Windsor was founded in 1872 by John C. Bennett and his father, William Bennett. The townsite was located on the banks of the North Platte River, east of where it flows into the San Juan River. The first post office in Windsor opened in 1875 and remained open until 1902. In 1907, a new post office called Aurora opened; it remained open until 1959. The name change to Windsor after local resident John C. Bennett became mayor in 1909 and began to promote town growth issues within the community including land annexation for development purposes which eventually resulted in incorporation as a municipality in 1912. The city's first mayor was Wm Ransom from 1916-1920 and then Jno Haughey from 1920-1925; both men were re-elected consecutively without interruption until November 3RD, 1933 when Harry Fenton was elected Mayor for a one year term effective January 1st 1934 due to term limits passed by state legislature at that time After World War II, many wartime jobs left Windsor with no replacement coming forward so much so that most residents left during 1949-1951 when there wasn't any real economic recession taking place unlike other Western US communities due to GI spending elsewhere . nonetheless they voted against annexation to Auroras city Limits because they felt their quality of life would be improved more within their own community
